Vatsal Viramgami

Vatsal is a Chartered Accountant (~CPA equivalent) and has cleared all three levels of the CFA program. He brings over seven years of experience in private company valuation, with a strong focus on the valuation of complex securities. At Windy Street, Vatsal works on engagements for financial reporting, tax, and transaction purposes, applying a deep understanding of valuation methodologies and accounting standards.

Vatsal’s core expertise lies in valuing complex financial instruments, including profit / incentive units, rollover equity, warrants and convertible notes, and in performing earn-out valuations under ASC 805. He has extensive experience in conducting 409A and ASC 718 valuations using the income, market, and cost approaches and advanced allocation techniques such as Option Pricing Models, CVM, PWERM and Monte Carlo Simulations, to ensure fair equity allocation among stakeholders.

In addition to complex security valuations, Vatsal has broad experience in portfolio valuations under ASC 820 and gift and estate valuations for tax purposes. He has worked extensively across the technology, biotechnology, and healthcare services sectors, delivering insightful and defensible valuation analyses tailored to each client’s business dynamics.

Outside of work, Vatsal enjoys trekking, hiking, football, painting, Formula 1, video games and is always exploring new hobbies and creative pursuits.
